Who we are
Digiocular is headquartered in Manila, Philippines and works remote-first with clients worldwide, including the Philippines, India, the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information collected through digiocular.com and our affiliated services (ReviewWala, Digiocular Tools, and any client engagement we operate).
In short: we collect what you type into our forms and send us, plus page-level analytics. We use it to answer you, to improve the site and to see which of our ads work. We do not sell it.
What data we collect
We collect three kinds of data:
- Form submissions — when you fill in our contact, website quote, brand audit or newsletter forms, we receive the name, business name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, services or website type of interest, budget range and message you provide. Only the fields you fill in are sent.
- Messages you send us — if you contact us on WhatsApp or by email, we keep the conversation, your phone number or email address, and anything you attach.
- Site analytics — usage data from Vercel Analytics, PostHog and Google Analytics: pages viewed, referrer, approximate location (city or country), device and browser type, and events such as a click on a WhatsApp or quote button. These events describe the page and the button; they never include the name, email or phone number you type into a form.
Cookies. PostHog and Google Analytics use cookies and similar browser storage to tell a returning visitor from a new one. You can block or clear them in your browser settings; every page still works without them.
How we use it
- To reply to enquiries and brand audit requests. Our team replies within 24 hours.
- To send newsletter content if you have explicitly opted in. Every newsletter contains a one-click unsubscribe.
- To improve the website — understanding which pages convert, which fall short, which devices struggle.
- To measure our advertising. We run ads on Google and Meta. Google Analytics is linked to our Google Ads account so we can see which ads lead to an enquiry; if we switch on the Meta Pixel, it does the same for ads on Facebook and Instagram. These tags send page views and button events to Google or Meta, which handle that data under their own privacy policies.
- To comply with legal obligations if any arise (tax, audit, statutory queries).
We do not sell your personal data or rent it out, and we never add you to a mailing list you did not ask to join.
Third-party services we use
Our stack is intentionally lean:
- Vercel — hosting, edge delivery, Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights. Vercel may log request metadata for fraud prevention and platform operations.
- PostHog — product analytics, on its United States cloud.
- Google Analytics 4 — traffic analytics, linked to Google Ads for conversion measurement.
- Meta Pixel — ad measurement for Facebook and Instagram, only while we have it switched on.
- Resend — delivers form submissions to our inbox, sends replies, and holds the newsletter list.
- WhatsApp — if you message us there, the chat is carried by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms.
Fonts are bundled with the site, so reading a page sends no request to Google Fonts. Each processor above has its own privacy policy, and we share only the minimum data it needs to do its job. Several of them store data outside your country, including in the United States.
Your rights
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and the GDPR / UK GDPR where they apply, you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold on you.
- Correct or update inaccurate data.
- Request deletion (subject to legal retention duties).
- Opt out of newsletter and marketing communications.
- Withdraw consent at any time, with future effect.
To exercise any of these, email us at digiocular@gmail.com with the subject line “Privacy request”. We respond within 7 working days.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the regulator where you live: the National Privacy Commission in the Philippines, the Data Protection Board of India, or your local data protection authority in the EU or UK.
Data retention
Form submissions are retained for up to 36 months from the date of submission, after which they are deleted unless an active engagement requires longer storage. Analytics data is aggregated and retained for up to 24 months.
Security
Every page and form on this site travels over HTTPS (TLS). Form submissions reach us as email and stay in our inbox and in Resend; we do not keep them in a separate database. Only the people working on your enquiry read it. That said, no system is perfectly secure; please don’t share sensitive financial or health information through our website.
Changes
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a fresh “Last updated” date.
